MPI FrontBack Module
The FrontBack Module allows you to insert, remove and edit front and back scripts.
Front and back scripts are SuperCard features that allow the insertion of scripts into the message-passing hierarchy.
This is a very useful feature for adding scripts that will be universally available.
There are 6 slots for backscripts and six for frontscripts, front scripts get messages before anything else and back scripts get messages just before the sharedfile.
The module is like all the others contextual, and continually updated. The Insert buttons are enabled when an object is selected, and only when the object contains a script, MPI figuring out that you will not want to insert an empty script.
The FrontBack module features:
The frontBack module allows you to insert remove and edit front and back scripts very easily.
- Select an object and the Insert buttons become active, clicking them insert the script into the front or back.
- Selecting a script listed in either field activate the appropriate remove button
- Doubleclicking a script in either field allows you to edit its script.
- The module is updated whenever a script is added or removed and constantly reflects the current state of affairs.
- If you edit a front or back script, MPI will reinsert it in the place where it was.
If you have several scripts in back, edit the frontmost one and simply reinsert it, it will jump to the back of the other ones.
MPI doesn't let the scripts play leapfrog like that, it preserves the front/back order.
