color menu

The colors menu items contextually pops a variety of palettes to let you change the default colors and patterns (if no object is selected), or the objects colors, fillfore, fillback fillpat, penfore, penback, penfill and pensize.
If a graphic is selected you the themefill, themepen and ink items are enabled.

The first item in the menu is a disabled indicator of what you are changing.
If you have no selection you are changing the default colours which will affect new objects created.
MPI cleaverly recognises the limitations of the object(s) that are selected, if you have a bevel button selected, the first item will read Default as bevel buttons cannot have a color, so changes will apply to the default colors.
A rect button on the other hand can have a fill, so the first item will read Objects.
