I got this petition from a friend, important enought to spare a couple of minutes:
Amnistia Internacional
The Nigerian supreme court has upheld the death sentence for Amina Lawal, condemned for the crime of adultery on August 19th 2002, to be buried up to her neck and stoned to death. (more)

+ 0 - 0 | § Utilitywindow

Chilton keeps firing them out! A new external, to make a window float above all other apps windows Chilton's iDisk

+ 0 - 0 | § CurrentVoice external

Chilton has posted a carbon version of the CurrentVoice external for SuperCard to his iDisk.
Chilton's idisk
This version returns: Name, Version, Gender, Message,Age, Languageand Region for the user-designated 'voice' for text to speech.

+ 0 - 0 | § Keep Your Tools Shiny and New!

a load of fixes.

+ 0 - 0 | § PictureData of imageWells

I just found out (from Chilton's HTTP proj) that you can set the picturedata of an imageWell buttons, other buttons throw the expected error.
neat:

inline

+ 0 - 0 | § HTTP Xtrn

WebbToys 2.0 Beta First version of Chilton's HTTP Xtrn. Works a treat.

+ 0 - 0 | § ModuloPI

ModuloPI The alternative runtime editor for SuperCard 4 has reached 1.0. It is what I use for SuperCard Editing, more features and quicker than the RTE.
MPI dosen't get in the way, but lets you edit pretty much everything through different modules. (more)

+ 0 - 0 | § PAN!: HomePage

The Pantechnicon is a collaboration of HyperCard users and developers
who wish to extend the Life and usability of HyperCard
by warehousing everything that has ever been done with HyperCard.
PAN!: HomePage A ton of scripts and HC stacks, a lot of this can be used in SuperCard

+ 0 - 0 | § News and Reviews

My Daughter's News and Reviews Web page is made with a simple SC project. It now uploads the pages to the server too, which means she can change it without getting me to do any work at all. With SC 4's shell function ftp uploads http downloads etc are a snip.

+ 0 - 0 | § Vestibule Override - Homepage

Vestibule Override - Homepage Useful for me. Glasgow Bus info, and other stuff for folk without cars. I found a bus timetable to get me to the hills tomorrow in about 2 minutes. glasgow bus page

+ 0 - 0 | § SuperCard download and open a project from the web

I was playing with curl in the shell() today. try this:
on mouseUp
put projPath(this proj)&"GetMe.proj" into tfile
if exists (file, tfile) then delete file tfile
put ScFilepathToUnix(tfile) into tunixpath
put "curl http://www.littlefishsw.co.uk/GetMe.proj -o"&&tunixpath into tCommand
get shell(tCommand)
open proj tfile
end mouseUp

--needs:
function ScFilepathToUnix thepath
--Thanks to Samot who let the SC list know about the POSIX path AppleScript
put "the POSIX path of ""E&thepath"E into tScript
return script(do,AppleScript, tScript)
end ScFilepathToUnix

this script downloads a proj and opens it.

+ 0 - 0 | § SuperCard sharedFile addition

I have been writing some dragAndDrop scripts and having problems tracing them, if you look at a script sometimes during a trace, SC freezes and I need to force quit. It seems that you shouldn't open dialog windows during a drag. (more)

+ 0 - 0 | § KillShadow

Chilton has released a Xcfn to get rid of the shadow of a window, download it from: WebbToys 2.0 Beta

+ 0 - 0 | § www.brookmyre.co.uk - A BIG BOY DID IT AND RAN AWAY

"Hilarious, exhilarating entertainment." Dorothy Johnston, The Herald
www.brookmyre.co.uk - A BIG BOY DID IT AND RAN AWAY. My wife Dorothy's review of this book is quoted on the author's web site as a good review, maybe he didn't read it right through.

+ 0 - 0 | § moock.org >> moockblog

moock.org >> moockblog Colin Moock's blog on flash, straight into my NetNewsWire Lite feeds. My main dissapointment was that the bookshop sold the copy of actionscripts for flash mx: pocket guide I ordered.

+ 0 - 0 | § Sandaig Primary School

I haven't posted anything for ages, as I have been very busy at school. Last week spent on the Sandaig Primary School Web site. This is where I teach. Lots more to do.

+ 0 - 0 | § bmace.com | v5.0

bmace.com | v5.0 Nice Flash MX examples, not too overpowering. Great download source button.
