I've started writing a tutorial on dealing with image files in SuperCard:
SC, Image Files and MPI
So far it covers, basic setting up of ModuloPI the Alternative RTE for Supercard, listing files in fields, user properties, basic drag and drop. The idea is I will add to it from time to time.

iStill is the next step in still image capture software for the Macintosh. Using an iSight camera and iStill, you can effortlessly capture sketches, signatures, business cards, photos, and other media that are difficult to get quite right with a traditional scanner or camera. From Chilton Webb so I'd guess this is made with SuperCard. Unfortunately I don't think I'll get an iSight for Christmas, but this looks like a extremely handy tool for those folk that do.

DevHQ SuperCard Externals One of the mosit interesting is Activate Fonts This external allows you to instantly activate a font for your app, enabling you to use fonts that are not in the system. Additionally, you can activate the font system-wide.
You can have the font anywhere you want.
Chilton has now got 31 externals for download! only 334 to go.

Spent a frustrating hour writing a script to change the shadow colour of fields, via the ink property.
set it to gray1 works, I was of course spelling it grey1.
I think this is the third time I have been bitten by this one.

I am an enthusiastic user of mpi the alternative runtime editor for supercard, but I don't use all its modules.
I hadn't really looked very closely at the overview module, other than to use it to switch/open windows and cards. I got into it a bit more this morning, you can edit the name of objects directly from the palette

but when you hold the control key down you get a contextual menu

Very nice indeed. You can do a lot of quick editing without even going to the card the object is on, you don't even need to open the window.
The module is also a wonderful example of a scripted expanding treeview in SuperTalk.

Chilton's DevHQ SuperCard Externals site is back on, now 25 externals. I think he is ahead of his 'external a day' schedule. Certainly producing them faster that the SC community can use them!!
The latest one is CreatorTool 'This version of CreatorTool features full integration of both OS9's Desktop Database, and OSX's LaunchServices. '

download VideoIn4X Chilton' video capture external. A ton of features, espically for thosewith an iSight.
Chilton also posted QTAudioBalance This external lets you get and set the audio balance for a single track of your choosing in an audio file played back by SuperCard's QuickTime tools.
Neither of these are listed on DevHq yet.

There are now 15 externals at: DevHQ SuperCard Externals which means Chilton is keeping up his one a day external production line!
Matteo Varisco. Lorenz's project is now SC-Externals Version 1.1.4, with an interesting looking project listed but not yet avaliable, XnPro Finder Version 1.0 'This is an External and Projects Finder for SC developers.' Anyone who has looked at my Simple_Guide.proj will know I am very interested in this, SC as a specialised browser idea.
