+ 0 - 0 | § Quartzify Bundle

Thanks Ian Ian Bridges' first external:The 'Quartzify' (or CG) Bundle gives Supercard users access to 40 of
the Core Graphics (CG) drawing commands to create graphics using the OSX Quartz engine.
Features include:
Anti-aliased text & graphics, Full alpha channel transparency support,Rotated text and graphics, Stroked & filled, Text, Clipping paths, Drop Shadows, Gradient Fills,Bezier Curves,Complex paths.
I can thing of a couple of places I can use this straight away (or as soon as I've figured out the syntax.)
The Beta version of the bundle is available in the sc mail list files area.

+ 0 - 0 | § Lots of QuickTime Movies

Someone asked on the SC list about showing 140 frames of a QuickTime movie as graphics. This seemed quite difficult to do 140 graphics seems to slow things up a bit. I tried instead to show the same movie 140 times in a loop, scaling the movies down and setting the currentTime of each as I went. Much to my surprise this was quicker than exporting and showing graphics and kept SuperCard a lot more responsive. It is also easy to update the thumbnails by setting the currenttime of each.
